Pheidole sinica

Pheidole sinica is one of the most impressive and sought-after species of the genus Pheidole. While many Pheidole species are rather small, Pheidole sinica from Southeast Asia stands out due to its considerable size and extreme dimorphism. The gigantic soldier heads are an absolute highlight in any tropical formicarium!
